What do I see on the Dashboard of the education portal?
The Dashboard is the main entry point to all functions and features of the education portal. On top, news are displayed followed by a section for each school you are related to. Depending on your role and the school's configuration you see different Widgets .
The following widgets are available by default
Applications
Single sign on is available for all applications listed in the Applications tile on the Dashboard. This means you are automatically logged in to the corresponding application by clicking on the name of the application in the Applications tile. The available applications depend on your role and the school's configuration.

Teachers of federal schools also have the widget Serviceportal Bund - Links available by default. Additional widgets can be enabled by the principal and the education portal administrator in Organization Info > Applications or Organization Info > Features. The principal and the education portal administrator are also authorized to disable some of the default widgets.
Managing widgets
All functions and features of the education portal can be accessed via widgets. Depending on your role in the school and the school's configuration different widgets are displayed.
You can hide widgets on your personal dashboard. The widget is not displayed on your dashboard but still available in the background and you can unhide it at any time.
To hide a widget, enable the Edit mode in the top right corner.
Click the eye icon in the top right corner of the widget you would like to hide. Disable the Edit mode. The widget is not displayed on your dashboard anymore.
To unhide the widget, enable the Edit mode in the top right corner and click the slashed eye icon in the top right corner of the widget you would like to unhide.
