My child does not have an email address, how can it use the education portal?
User accounts in the education portal are created based on data of the school administration software. Please set up the account for your child with your email address that you provided to the school. Please select your child's account in step 6 of the Account set up process.
If you did not provide an email address to the school and/or used ID Austria to log in, you can still activate the account for your child. However, an email address is required for your account.
Email address of own account
- Click on Profile in the profile menu in the upper right corner
- The email address is displayed in the User details section
- If the email address ends on @localhost.local you did not provide an email address to the school. Click Edit profile in the User details section
- Enter a valid email address, where the confirmation token will be sent to and click Update profile
- Continue with your child's Account set up
